Having a doula helped my husband and I discuss and understand any concerns and fears we had surrounding labour. Kirsten went out of her way to accommodate our needs for catch-ups, and even bought my favourite coffee from the local café on most occasions! During my labour Kirsten’s presence was highly valued. She provided additional support not only for me but my husband. She can be as hands on or in the background as required, and always remains completely without judgement for the individual’s choice. In fact, enabling a woman’s choice is one of Kirsten’s top priorities, and thus the pregnant woman is better able to understand herself, and the journey that is pregnancy. A doula is a blessing for any pregnant woman, and Kirsten is no exception.”
